The Re-cover Story
Re-cover Journals is all about unique, funky, and recycled.
We are a small, home-based business. In fact, the business is so compact that for the first three years it operated out of the (miniscule) bedroom I had when I was a child! It is a magical process to discover discarded books and transform them into our delightful journals.
The most rewarding part of the Re-cover Journals adventure is seeing people discover the journal, album or notebook that’s perfect for them. Like the young woman who used the album “ Blushing Brides Unveiled” for her wedding photos, or someone whose daughter Alice was going traveling who discovered the journal “Alice in Wonderland.” Each product has its own history and unique feel. They are evocative, beautiful, hilarious, meaningful, and recycled.
Re-cover is thriving! We sell to wholesale customers across Canada. Stores ranging from environmental shops, to independent bookstores, gift stores, stationery sellers, gallery shops, and more. Our experience has shown that when customers see the book titles and cover art they can often be heard saying: “this is perfect for…”.
Our product line is constantly evolving. Look out for more exciting additions.
